Winter is the new Spring ... and rain is the new snow. At this time of year I should be hunkered down, safely secured from ice and snow, feeding the fish and cataloging books, but with weather forcasts that read "rain ... patchy fog ... breezy with highs around 50" that's just not happening. Hard to imagine how anyone would care that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and now knows that "winter" will last another six weeks. I'm thinking I'll take a ride down the Cape to look for my shadow ... and some signed first editions.
